What are you cooking today.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've seen them backpacking before but I haven't ever had the desire to catch and eat one before. They're the definition of slow. I'm pretty sure my jog is their sprint but dealing with the cleaning process would be a royal pita.

That is awesome!!! Man I would love to experience that (especially the feed and drinks after)! We do something similar called torching. We walk the flats. Some times setting baits tied to rocks before the sun goes down. Coming back to them after dark.
You Aussies are some great people. Some of the friendliest/funniest people I met in college and beyond.

Nice of you to say that about the Aussies!
We would wade where we could too but a lot of the places we crab have a soft combination of mud and sand, we would sink up to our waist, so we paddle using the punt. It gets us into water less than 15cm deep.

Tonights dinner, salmon sashimi and conch salad for starters.

Shrimp and pork rice paper rolls as mains.

I'm hungry now.

All this talk about mud crabs got me motivated. Threw out the traps and got a couple of mud crabs. Tonight's dinner!

@Timpon judging by the rice paper wrap, I'm gonna guess you're Vietnamese?

BTW, I have that very same yellow bowl :)
