Tonight, we enjoyed some of our home made pierogis sautéed in butter, onion, and bacon. Of course, we had the sour cream dollops on the side.

We've had leftover jasmine rice in the fridge for a few days now, so figured I whip up some fried rice. Also added some leftover breakfast sausages and bacon.

Dinner done!

Sometimes, it's better to not try and explain things. It was 90F today and the wife wants split pea soup. So, I made up a pot of split pea and ham hock soup.

Last night's dinner: homemade "HotPockets" chicken, broccoli and cheese baked in cornflake crusted dough

Next time, try mixing in some crushed Cap'n Crunch with the corn flakes. It adds a nice sweetness to the chicken.

I love split pea soup! The best is on a nice Fall Sunday in Late October watching football in New England. Can't beat it.
