I love split pea soup! The best is on a nice Fall Sunday in Late October watching football in New England. Can't beat it.

I wholeheartedly agree. However, here in Alabama, that cool bracing hot soup weather doesn't arrive until February.
 
Tonight, I made some beef back ribs in a home-made red wine-based BBQ sauce with sides of seasoned steak fries and my 5-type baked beans with hamhock and kielbasa,

Nice and healthy. Just wondering where do you get the barramundi from ?
A local grocery store just started carrying it in individual vacuum wrapped filets. They are a firm white meat fish, and not strong in the smell department. Really, really good flavor. All I use is salt and pepper for seasoning.
