Similar but the dough is different.With these the pastry shell is thin and flaky.

If so, you shouldn't have a difficult time finding freshly made empanadas.

You can also try Indias' own version, samosas

I like them cooked all sorts of ways: roasted; baked; broiled; grilled; sautéed; fried; boiled; steam;
.....hell, sometimes raw lol

Thanks,I have bought them before but this is my first attempt at making my own.I'm a bit sick of pizza,my son however can eat it every day.
