What is the meanest african cichlid?? in your opinion??

In my experience Melanochromis Auratus is the most Vicious african normaly kept in aquariums. However there is another that will kill any Tankmates That cant eat it. Gynochromis Mento it is a fin and scale eater and will not eat anything else. Therefore all tankmates are surely killed.

I have yellow labs, Kenyi, acei, and red zebra. In my tank the Kenyi rule and the yellow labs tend to flee instead of fight. They are also much smaller because they are not as aggressive eaters.

kenyi have much bigger mouths making them alot more powerful or better giving them the upper hand as oppose to yellow labs having a small mouth which can do alot less damage so basically the bigger the mouth,the bigger the bite

I haven't had many african cichlids, but my meanest was either a venustus or a blue cobalt.

yeah, for me definately my male kenyi, he literally owns half of my 55...only a few venture over on his side, but thats cuz they hide in small areas that he can't get to...that or my d. compressiceps

thanks...i did in another post, but i'll put them here, all together
first is my 55 with a lot a smaller cichlids, and then my 90 with a crabro pair, acei, and yellow lab
and don't have a pic yet, but i'm getting a full grown male, white calvus...cant wait!
