What is the most colorful and beautiful peacock bass

On the plus side: apparently the vazzoleri dude has stopped calling it that according to a mutual friend lol

I thought the import and sale of bass today was just like it was then but on a bigger scale. I haven’t delved into the info surrounding a fish for any species like I have with bass. I get irritated too. From the people who spout off random identifications to the shops trying to make some extra cash labeling them as fish that can’t even be imported. That’s why I stopped going on a lot of bass groups for anything other than to share pictures. I never would’ve realized the amount of bs that could surround a fish. On top of that the more research you do the more pissed of you get. But I still love them. I just wish more people WOULD spend the extra money to get the better quality cichla. I’ll never understand it but hopefully soon we see some new fresh cichla come in. I can only dream of getting a fogo one day lol

I blasted him about it on the cichla group saying anyone who even cares would know he’s lying and anyone who doesn’t care, doesn’t care. After that his friend messaged me showing me a screen cap of his referring to it as a pinima lol

Same here, he liked to send me pics of bass and argue why it could be a hybrid haha. I just have a harsher stance on what’s a hybrid because in my opinion there’s a difference between a farmed mutt and a hybrid. So he’s always trying to prove me wrong but he just ends up sending pics of Kelberi or orino varients haha

Bro he wouldn’t stop sending stuff I had to stop responding for a bit it was 24/7 I’m like dude if you can’t ID it don’t buy it lol then he’d send another pic :swear:
