Just make sure that you acclimate the polys to the temp in the 55. Or slowly bring QT to same temp as 55 before the switch. Either way that high of a temp swing could prove bad if not handled correctly.
Okay will do the temps the same. Then will slow drip be a sufficient method for acclimating the water?

Then will do the safe start and hold off on feeding as J jaws7777 / Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 said. Will have to wait for the safestart to get here though. HAve to go home and check my amazon cart. Don't think I clicked order, but I was doing some shopping....hopefully not too much ...lol

You maybe only need two bottles, one for the first week and maybe the second for the next WC.

clm08k clm08k idk if someone mentioned this already, but when you put the polys in the 55g and going to do WC before adding the safstart, i suggest do a fin level WC, it works better.
Idk if you wanna add the polys first or wait till everything i settled.

If your gonna do a wc do it before adding the polys. Less stress, moving to a new tank while already stressed from ammonia, then the next day doing a fin level wc woukd just add to that.

Are.you really getting ammonia with jist the danios ? This is a problem to me the pic didnt look like you had any bit im not sure.

Eother way inwoukdnt stress them with a fin level the day after moving them.

Im a big fan of fin level wc's but they have their place as do regular 50% wc's big fish equel big waste so large cichlids and over stocked poly tanks (like mine) call for removing as much water as possible during each wc but a 55 gal with 3 upper jaws shouldnt call for that level of water being removed. Test your water every few days during the 1st couple of weeks then after you get a feel for the tank start testing before each wc if the tank is only accumulating say 20ppm every week then imo an easy breazy 50% or 75% wc is fine

If it were me I'd test the water daily until things stabilize just in case so you can get on top of any issues immediately.

But other than that ^^^ what jaws said. ^^^ ;)

When is your Safestart arriving?
