I dunno, I like that killin u have but I think the fry would turn out pretty crazy if it wasnt a shortbody flowerhorn like yours

I always thought it looked like it had maybe texas genetics or possibly thai zz but I dont have too much experience with anything other than rd

I say none. You should try to get a female with brighter & better colors.

agreed... with the male looking that nice I'd go for a better looking female and really make some nice fry!

From what I have seen you would get normal or slightly shorter bodied Kamfas. You have to have an extremely shortbody like mine to get kirins. I'll find you some pics or videos of KKP X Flowerhorn.

IMHO I wouldn't breed it with any of the females you have... It's better if you purchase the kamalau from your friend and breed it with your male... And btw, the fish on the right is definitely not a female kk... Looks like a low grade ZZ... KK have double flowerlines, nice wrap tail and worms pearls... :-)

I thought it was zz when I bought it but when it grew out i wasnt sure, Its never layed eggs either so I'm probably gonna sell her. The Red dragon is stressed right now from being moved around a few times but its usuallu a lot more red and the pearl is bright blue so the fry would turn out decent but I would like to find a proven breeder with more color and double row. Heres another one over been growing out for a few months but im not sure the type or sex yet. any opinions would be great
