Which is the most aggressive SA/CA cichlid in your experience/opinion?

Dovii and Hemichromis faciatus for its size. When I had faciatus they could not be housed with anything and were eating mbuna practically the same size as themselves. They have also been introduced to control tilapia numbers. Here is a video of a faciatus hybrid and dovii....not my fish.

Out of fish i owned it would be vieja argentea. Started with 3 or 4 and the dominant male beat the others relentlessly along with heterospilus grow outs.

The single male has killed some dithers, bitten part of the tail off of a birhir that lasted less than an hour in the tank and was immediately removed. Did the same to a decent sized spotted raph cat who also had to be removed less than an hour after being added to the tank.

Im glad im not the only one. I had a 3in Argentea that would relentlessly attack the tail of a foot long Endli Bichir. It was so persistent that the bichir's tail started to bleed so I had to sell the argentea. Those things are crazy haha

Yeah at the moment hes trying to terrorize a group of rosy barbs but cant catch them

My midevil tops my list for aggressive, but I have a 1.5" female salvini that is quite the monster. My dovii is actually pretty laid back for now.

My RTM would have to be the meanest I've owned very beefy fish they hate any other fish that come into the tank more so when there's fry you can't walk by the tank with out them being set off
