Those are your biggest problems in the future, literally and figuratively. I have an amphilophus that would rush a great white, but my parachromis study their victims before engaging. They are smart, and will usually only fight a battle they can win.I have a dovii and a jag that hide from the rest of my cichlids
More space is a definite plus, but at the end of the day there are some fish that should be kept by themselves. My Dovii, Jag, or Amph are not community fish, and even in an 8' tank would kill everything, or be killed. All are solo in a 125, 75, and 75.Is aggression also triggered by size of the tank.....the reason I ask is.......I recently picked 2 midevils (8 inches , each) , from a hobbyist , who claimed that they were very aggressive and a real pain to house them in a 4 footer.......I put them in my 8 footer and they are decently behaved![]()
