I have had almost all there is....If comparable in size and all dropped in the tank at the same time my order would be, Trimaculatum, Umbee, Red Festae, Dovii, Red Devil. I have videos of an unreal Festae and Trimac fight. Vide of male Trimac who bread with 2 Female Trimacs at the same time. I have a few videos on Youtube just Google "Shab Cichlid Videos" Enjoy!

So I hear people calling Oscars pansies, while I don't disagree. I have one specimen that may be the exception. For measured brutality I challenge anyone to find a nastier Oscar than my Brutus. He's only 12" and still averaging around an inch per month. He has been housed in a 125 with the following
-13" red devil male (3 days survived)
-10" jag male (less than 24 hrs)
-12" male red dragon FH (6 hrs, broken tank divider, pulled the fh.) Too beautiful to be destroyed that way
-10" Green terror (4 days)
-11" Texas (3 days)
They say pansy, I almost changed his name to wood chipper :PView attachment 1145782
In regards to my previous post... Brutus has been dethroned for my personal experience. I have a 4" midevil and a 4" amphilophus zaliosus that are hands down the nastiest little fish I've ever had the pleasure of keeping. Constant, unbridled aggression. It's a thing of beauty lol!

This is my most aggressive right now 10" blackbelt usually only aggressive at feeding time, but he almost killed the 5"oscar who was very aggressive in his previous tank with smaller cichlids , then the1' hogaboomorum who attacks everything for no reason. So far there are still smaller fish in the tub but I will be adding the red tail catfish and hybrid to the tank soon.
what other big cichlids should I add to the tank? there are 3 large catfish in the tank right now- yellow bullhead 9" four line pim catfish and 1' marble catfish

what are those little fish swimming around?
The 3 little 2" ones where giant danios I like how they look from above and are quick so don't get eaten too often, and there are some smaller cichlids yellow lab convicts layed eggs in the pond, small red jewel and a couple others but they are all being moved Im adding a 13" jauguar and some more catfish with more caves

Ben is the man! I am sure there are hundreds of fish on the site that would shred him, but they better bring their A game. Ben is 12" s of pure aggression. Under 14" need not apply, he would shred my dovii, and jag.

This is Mr Ben after about 15 minutes in his upgrade from a 75.
