he has inspired a ton of people to get p's
then he tops everyone with a tank full of azuls
and breeds a few kinds of p's on the side
after that theres no step above that so i guess he gives up.lol
:D

My Uncle Boy inspired me into the raising and breeding of tropical fish....When I was 9 years of age, he started taking me out on the weekends to his local haunts in city...I received my first monster from him, a Tiger Oscar...He then filled me in with the birds and the bees on filtration....Diatom Filter, does this ring a bell anyone????He gave me the the one from the late 70's or early 80's model....I actually still have the thing in my garage in a homemade stand he wired together from steel....LOL...The motor may not work, but I still keep it as a memoir of where I started as a novice....

There are so many people on this site i wouldnt want to say names since im afraid id leave some out. But the person that got me back into this hobby was my girlfriend she got me started a couple years ago and now i have all the tanks in my sig. I bet you're Filipino. All Filipino folks have an "Uncle Boy."

Great story though.

Rallysman, JD_MAN, and Li have been inspirations, although I don't want any brokeback fish.

My father got me started when i was 5.He was my biggest inspiration.

On here.MFK MEMBERS!

some members have inspired me to spend way too much money though... frshwaterstingrays(derrick) i blame him for my addiction to rays... Li for building this site and giving us all a place to share our knowledge.... Gr8karma has to be mentioned for stalking me.... alot of members helped me save some really sick fish and held some for me that i could not hold...

ashdavid- to try to beat his collection of hoplias and other assorted monsters, i nor anyone here ever will, but it's worth trying. but that's of recent. i just really got into it and went deeper and deeper into the hobby. i was always more into herps than fish, and times changed.
