Wild cichlids in AUSTRALIA!

Neat! I wish there were a pond or lake around me I could go fishing for cichlids. Around me we have sunfish which are similar I guess.

red devil will flourish and destroy other species just like what happen in some of the canal here in Singapore

I think it's been like this for many years and the devils are living with a few other species in there, I just want to know where to find the BIG DEVILS!

What size hook, line tes, single barb treble,bait ect...
I really wanna do this in my area see what I get

Really small hooks, barb-less, corn. Depending on where you live I'm not sure if you'll have any luck, they're probably so easy to catch because they're contained in this water body.

All the species are a bit to big for my tank And they're all massively cross bred, could be fun however, some of them are quite pretty. And I guess there'd be nothing like catching your own pet!
