Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Anybody try growing legumes in aquariums? I know that they are one of the few kinds of plants that can convert nitrite to nitrate in soil, bit I am not sure about in water.

Very cool. I'm going to do this with my tanks. I do have one question do those pothos grow vines? I'm asking cause my mom had a plant similar looks that grew about 20' vines. One ended up in my old 29 and started to grow even more.

Thanks i just googled it. Turns out its the same plant my mom has . Looks like ima be taking a trip to her house and cutting a good vine off of one.

A lot of common plants have roots that can adapt to water, or Atleast on a small slow drip!
Yes these pothos grow very fast! Can't wait till I have vines all over my tank!

My mom has vines all over her living room lol. Toke maybe a summer to grow like 15' vines. The plant itself is on a 8' tall wall unit all the vines reach the floor and further.
