Looks awesome!

^ I like the idea, but the leaves that are fully submerged are going to die without being above the surface. If you could raise the driftwood up a bit so the leaves are exposed then it might work for you.
+1

Ok. I asked n someone said the leaves would eventually grow above the water. Guess I was misinformed.

The leaves are so close to the top that imo they may break the surface and you will be alright, maybe lower the water level an inch to help out!

Doing something similar, just have them growing up on a 'trestle' behind the tank. Tanks are located in the basement so have a nail up in a joist with fishing line tied to it. Fishing line is then stapled to the back of the stand. Have straight and '45' degree angles on each joist. The 180 has had them for awhile longer than the 125. 125 is still a work in progress as well, still figuring out what to do with it and put in it.

180 Gallon

125 Gallon

Working on that. Virtually demolished my wife's plant taking pieces off of it little by little. She hasn't noticed yet. May just have to bite the bullet and go buy one big plant for each.
Lol, that works! A whole plant will prlly do a lot more as far as n03 reduction is concerned!

View attachment 840973View attachment 840974divider is blocking off heaters until I get reducers for my inline heaters to hook up. I will eventually add another plant. Wanna see how this works out for now
Wow I really like that, plant seems very healthy too, when the leaves start turning black that's when you know their dying!
