It's under the SCIGRIP section of their corporate site, here's the link http://www.scigrip.com/product.php?id=18Has Weld-on 40 been discontinued by IPS? I can't seem to find any info about it at their website. Is Weld-On 810 the same thing?
How big of tank? Thanks. I'm wondering how much coverage I'll get with 1 pint for sealing/reinforcing joints like shown in this thread. Anyone know? Otherwise a Gallon would set me back about $200. The cost is giving me 2nd doubts about the new tanks I plan on building.
That's what I'm wondering. How big of a tank can I seal with 1 pint? How big of tank?

Ooook.. its easier if you tell me the size of tank you'd like to plan. I can tell you that a pint might do a 40 to 50 gallon tank on all the seams. That's what I'm wondering. How big of a tank can I seal with 1 pint?
Are you sealing acrylic to acrylic? Or acrylic to the fiberglass ?I'd like to build a 10' x 2.5' x 1.5' 280 gallon tank. I'm thinking of doing a plywood shell, that will be lined with .090" thick Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester Resin Panels. I was thinking about using the Weld-on to seal the inside seams of the FRP panels. If the Weldon is too costly, now I'm thinking I'll just try using Max ACR epoxy and just pour it the same way into the seams.
I'm not using acrylic at all. I'd be using the the weld on (or epoxy, whichever is better and/or cost effective) to seal the joints on the Polyester FRP Panels. Are you sealing acrylic to acrylic? Or acrylic to the fiberglass ?
