Hey guys, one of my cuttings has snapped in half.. The roots are starting to grow but the stem is weak and turning brown..
I tried pulling one end of the stem and it broke off easily.. Even the leaves came off easily..
Not sure if it'll still grow but I've kept both ends of the roots submerged in the tank..

By the way, is there a way to speed up their growth?

As stated earlier in the thread, too much light is bad for pothos.

Oh, and a quick question.. Some of the leaves are partially submerged in the tank water.. Is that ok?

As stated earlier in the thread, too much light is bad for pothos.

Im not sure about that bud.
If its too hot on top of the plants maybe. But also what is too much light?
I have a nice 4ft 4bulb t5 right on top of my pothos plants and they are thriving.

I ditched the 10 gallon pothos sump. To much maintenance. Going with your tried and true method now.

Great looking setup Catfish!
But be prepared for the roots to take over the tank.
Im looking into gettn mine back out and into an overhead sump.

What's P and K?

N-P-K is a normal aquarium fertilizer routine. It stands for nitrate-phosphorus-potassium and is the essential life line for plants. How ever the most important for pothos is nitrate which if your tank is cycled should be abundant. Realistically unless you have rodi water you shouldn't need anything but fish to and little light to make this plant thrive.

As stated above watch heat sources, make sure it has current, pluck the dead or dying leaves off and obviously make sure tank is established! Try added light in the 6k-7k color spectrum, CFL bulbs work awesome!
