Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Today I added another clipping into the side filter.. It's not much now but there will be more to come soon.. :naughty:
Just to be sure, are these pothos? I wouldn't want to add the wrong plant and have them dying for no reason.. They are being kept indoors so I assumed that they are pothos..

By the way, how long does it take to know if the plants thrive or die?

Sorry man ive had the flu since xmas eve. Yes those are pothos and it looks awesome. You will experience nitrate reduction in 3 weeks or so! You should see new growth within a week or so

When I added pothos to my tank, I put in 8 plants, and only 1 died after 5 days.

I ditched the 10 gallon pothos sump. To much maintenance. Going with your tried and true method now.
