Sumo, how is it helping the sport? You say little girls will see this and say, "I wanna do this"
I'm sorry but 2 outta 3 times, I think these little girls are seeing the guys giving attention, acting all stupid over this, and what I think they really want is the attention, it shows once they're in the ring LOL.

I really don't understand. You really think that they shouldn't participate in a SPORT just because they're a girl?

Like you think girls should look pretty and serve men?

THAT I never said. Just no piggy backing off guy sports, do something original ladies, where you're still a woman. I didn't say nothing about serving, those are your words.

What is a guy sport???? A sport is an organized competition. The gender separation is only to make the competitors similar. No different then a weight class. You want the light weights to fight the heavy weights or go play water polo instead of fighting each other?

i don't really give a damn what their intentions are. as long as they're in the ring and it's turning heads, more attention whores!!!

it's been a year or so since she said that she'd do it. recently she keeps demanding for a catchweight. not gonna happen

bottles,

i hear everything that you're saying, trust me. all prospects outside the ufc won't get in the ufc. some will, some won't.

why are they not in the ufc versus wmma? ronda rousey, that's who. the same reason brock was sought after hard, and with rumors of his return you know dana is on it like white on rice and fur on mice and toast on rye from the deli in the sky............ because of the star power.

it's nothing more than the music thing we mentioned, it's what is selling now. it's what will help get more attention to the sport. it lines their pockets and will only get more exposure.

why does mma need little girls watching? why not? ronda being a role model will get girls to watch and will get little girls to say, hey, i want to do that. which in turn only makes wmma grow, and thus making mma grow. why would we not want that?

aldo is being promoted, he is the one that is not meeting them halfway. he has as much character as a rock. he refuses to learn English, that is a huge part that will get americans to relate to him but he won't and he has admitted to letting his opponent do all the pr stuff while he just stays quiet and trains. he complains about not making more money but more money comes from self promoting and becoming more popular. there is a reason champs after aldo have become more popular and made more money. part of it is his own fault. there's a reason why conor shot straight to the top and is making more money than people of the same caliber that has been here years before him. these people have done great self promoting

Weidman is also being promoted and they can't do much because he keeps getting injured. his rematch with Anderson made a million ppv buys i believe or somewhere close. he is just not staying healthy enough at this point.
Rhonda didn't have star power. She wasn't even that big in Strikeforce. Her gold at the Olympics barely made a splash because less people follow womens Judo then follow WMMA. They slapped us in the face with her until we paid attention. Brock was already a star.
Is Honda a good role model that you'd want your daughter imitating? She is a huge *****.
I don't think that WMMA is needed for MMA to grow. Bringing in other men with their patriotic fans (like Connor did) would do the job and be more entertaining.
I agree that Aldo not speaking English is holding him back (I don't think it should, but I agree that it is). Weidman has a big fight coming up against Vitor. Go to any major MMA site and you will see more articles about Rousey (who doesn't have a fight lined up) than you will about Weidman. If they invested into Weidman like they did with Rousey, he'd be a much bigger star. Weidman has been injured, but at least he has a fight coming up.
How about Dillishaw? He's another guy who just defeated one of the P4P best and has the rematch coming up next month.

At the end of the day, I'd rather see men fight and women be women. There's not much point in arguing because that's how I feel and if you guys enjoy womans fighting, that's cool too. I won't like WMMA anytime soon and I won't pay for it. I'd rather see the UFC expand into other countries (which they are slowly doing). The UFC just got TV deals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia which is a bigger deal than anything going on in WMMA.

If the sport has already been polished by a man, it's a man's sport. (There are many execeptions of course) Tell me, why can't women think of other things on their own? Are the only sports in the world what men do?

Hmmm, what was your high school PE curriculum? Didnt girls do them with you? Maybe you should've invented your own sport instead of piggybacking onto old sports. Why are men in cheerleading? Dance? Gymnastic? Performance art? Should they be women only?
