gonna derail this thread for a second, but I know you are boxing/biking now from your other bike thread, what are your macros sitting at right now for that type of high cardio? Just curious.

I HAMMER precooked ham the same way lol, I eat that at least twice a day lol, pretty lean and way tastier than chicken breast every single day haha. Do you use Walden Farms BBQ?
I don't track macros very seriously but it is definitely most carbs and protein with some fats from the nuts I add to my oatmeal. I like to add in a strawberry protein shake with a banana and 2% milk added after hard workouts and I drink a casein protein shake every night before bed. I'm honestly to lazy to track them lol. I use Simple Truth's bbq sauce from Kroger. It has just enough spice to it for me and I love the flavor.

I eat too little. I have a really fast metabolism and my longer training sessions burn a massive amount of calories. I eat my three prepped meals today and supplement with at least one protein bar. If I feel hungry I'll eat a few wheat crackers covered in natural peanut butter or some yogurt. Honestly, I can't believe I'm not lighter than I am.

must be nice lol, I'm currently low carbing/high protein to cut the extra poundage I've put on lol. My metabolism isn't slow but it sure isn't a garbage disposal either lol. cardio heavy 4 days a week...lifting 5 days a week...under 100 carbs a day, 150-200 protein and no more than 45-50 fats.

My current goal is ten miles running per week, one day of sparring and three days of general boxing workouts (conditioning is included). I also try to throw in a leg workout at least once a week. I'm not super into lifting but I've found strengthening my legs has helped push these big guys off me while sparring.

ya I've been running roughly 10/week and biking somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 or so/week. Legs are my all time favorite work out and today is leg day hell ya haha. you'd be surprised how much strength your legs put into a strike or grapple....I know when I was training for my black belt in tkd I was miles above the others just due to my leg workouts and biking. Then with bjj and muay thai my legs became invaluable.

Yeah a good boxing gym teaches you to use your legs before they teach anything else. I'll add around 30-40 miles per week on the bike here soon as the tri gets closer.

How do you split that running up and how much of these workouts are done outside of a gym?
