It looks for all the world like they are eating the fry, but I assume that they are simply catching them and spitting them out where they want them to be?

Yup when they get too far away mom or dad will scoop them up and drop them off at the base of the pile.

Looking back cause I wasn't keeping track they are now a month and two days old. Seems like I have not lost many so far.

Hahaha they swarm does seem to be healthy that’s for sure.

What do you plan to do with all the babies? Do you have a LFS that will buy them or trade for goods?

The Petco's in my area buy fry for in store credit. Maybe can sell some to The Wetspot, I live near it. Give a bunch to MFK members for free, Craigslist, feeders for my other fish.
