I do not, my Camera / video phone was shot on my iPhone... wife’s like - let’s get a camera... think she wanted it...cant say much after all my tanks n fish...Sounds like a good mix!
Do you have any flashguns/speed lights? Those are hands down the best way to get good photos of fish
It's easier to get decent photos on a phone camera due to the lower light requirements but it is significantly easier to take great photos with a DSLR and the right lighting, you can get higher aperture, lower ISO and stupid fast shutter speeds when using external lightsMost tanks "with" polys eventually become poly dominant tanks. Lol
I use my phone for pics and vids.
I used to have a cheap Kodak that took really nice pics when I had my reef. Everyone was always asking what camera, what settings, what backlight, how'd you do that, lol I just put it on auto and took pics of what I though looked nice in the tank.
I bought an expensive cannon just before I quit salt and it was like pulling teeth to get a decent pic out of it.
Not looking to get rid of the ornate Bichir, think another member was wanting an ornate catfish like the one I have in there.Nice tank and really cool stock. Why do you want to get rid of the ornate bichir ?
One thing i would consider is feedings. Captive bred polys have very different appetites than their wc counterparts. For some reason they will gorge themselves, wc ime dont do this to the same extent. About two yrs ago i stopped feeding pellets as a staple and leaned more towards fresh and frozen fish mixed in some chopped smelts as well. I still feed pellets but probably only once a week. Polys are more active and hardly ever have that bloated look to them.
As they grow the drift wood may become a problem. Nothing to be concerned with yet.
I have a different take than most on poly predation.... its blown out of proportion. Ive never had one eat a tank mate. It doesnt mean it can happen though. You might get lucky and have the same experience as I had

I’m doing about 1/3 massivore 2/3 shrimp and tilapia for the Afer, have not seen it go for a pellet yet...
good tip on the wood, this tanks probably not big enough for their final resting spot.
what do you think will happen with the wood?
