My sev pays no attention to the kribs it’s with, tbh I’d see apistos being even better because they are much less aggressive. Sevs are anything but mean - mine gets pushed around by the rainbow cichlid.

I’ve had some pretty mean sevs, relatively, but that was towards fish more their own size
If you go with what’s been suggested, you shouldn’t need dithers, especially since dithers are more to help shy fish feel more comfortable rather than diffuse aggression. If you did, I’d go with something like Columbian tetras
soo i have my three main fish now, a pair apisotos hopefully, i still fell like there should be a bit more variety/fish?

Oh ok, my previous suggestions should still possibly work although it’s a little bit of a stretch. But have you thought about doing a tang setup?
No, lake tanganyika cichlids like Julie’s or Shellie’s. You could do a pretty sweet tang setup in that tank. I’ll try to find pics of vids of one I had
i did look at that and alot of youtube suggested that but as i mention earlier that am interested i monster fish soo i would like to start with 50 gallon.
