OMG. Do you not like those movies?
I do like a horror movie. There are lots of different types of horrors to my mind. My favourites down the decades have been such films as Halloween, The Evil Dead, Spit on Your Grave, the Saw movies, Hostel, Aliens and probably the one which has freaked me out more than any other horror movie was The Grudge.

The original came out in 1978 and was banned I believe.

Over the years there have been a few more, in 2010, 2013 and the last one was 2015 I believe. I think I may have seen the 2010 one I'm not sure. It was quite savage. Woman gets revenge after very brutal and graphic rape.

Those are all great movies. Spit on Your Grave was brutal. House of 1000 Corpses freaked me out. LOVE Rob Zombie.

Hmm,banned? I don't recall hearing of that but that makes me want to see it now lol. Also,
I wonder why so many remakes were made?

I loved Rob's House of
1000 Corpses trilogy and his version of Halloween but his other work wasn't very good.

Hmm,banned?
Yes, I did a bit of digging. It was banned in some countries, albeit temporarily, before being reinstated. A lot of high ranking film critics were very vocal regarding the unnecessary visceral rape scene.

The Evil Dead was even banned in some countries for a while too due to the tree rape scene.

Another I recall was a film called Driller Killer, which was also banned, though I haven't seen that film so I don't know why.

If I remember rightly, the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre and the original Hills Have Eyes also got in hot water for certain scenes.

All these movies that got in hot water were even more alluring to all us young teenage lads at school. We went out of our way to try and get copies, lol.
