Pretty similar to the way it was braced before from what is left, I assume this would be adequate?
How thick is the a acrylic on the current bracing vs. what u bought? IMO u dont need the long one across the length. If acrylics are eurobraced like this, youd usually go one brace under that lip thats already there, then another brace directly on top of that to double up the thickness of the brace. 5’ is a pretty large span for just 1 piece across not sandwiched. Dont want it to sag down in the middle of the span. U can do 2 braces spaced evenly sandwiched. Or honestly im thinking even place 3 of those u have in the center butted next to each other under that current lip then the other 2 on top of those in the middle for 1 beefy arse brace in the center. Ill try to get u a pic before i head out for work today 💀🤙

Thinner material on this one of course… u get the idea tho. Even if u just double up each brace like this it should b more than fine. Id cap those ends also if there not already to make the top all flush.

Perfect… should all match up flush then on top if u sandwich/double up the pieces. It will take alot of solvent to melt them together but itell b worth it. U can 40 or 16 them together also if u have those left.

Might have to go with the two sandwiched braces evenly spaced. When the bracing was cut out they left these parts on and they are dead center of the tank.
