Blue would be the better colour. I have a couple of tanks with a blue background. I think it shows the colour of the fish better.

Not bad for only 3 grand. Nice framework. Kinda kills the DIY aspect though if your payin other ppl to glass it but w/e looks like it's gonna be a killer amazon tank. Do you mind informing us on what you plan to stock this beast with?

Wow, that gelcoat came out *****in! I like the color, not to bright and not to dark either. Do you have pics of the holes drilled and glassed for the bulkheads? Oh and are peacock bass native to the amazon region?
