10" between the 2"x4"s sounds like a good plan. wouldn't go much wider though.

Leaving out for work today. I didn't accomplish much with the tank this break, but when I get home and on suday I'll be able to do some stuff. I won't be going to work next time so I'll be able to accomplish a lot. Basically going to consider my tank project my job for the next couple of weeks so there should be a lot more action. Hope you guys don't miss me too much.

If it's in your budget I would spray foam between each 2X4 that is going on the floor. It will give alot of strength and alot of insulation too!

I take that as you want to see more? lol. I'll be working on it today some finally. Just got back from work so give me a few.:D

For the foam I am going to leave it open so that any water that gets under the tank can evaporate. WHen we moved my pond I realized that water gets soaked into the wood, but has no way to escape when flat on the ground. This way it will be raised just enough that it can evaporate, and if I move I can get forklift or jack under it to move it.

Pics will be up tomorrow. Cut 20 boards to size tonight, and will attempt to add about 70" to it. Looks like another busy break, but I'll have this tour off from work to get to business. My plan is to have the skeleton and outer sheeting done in the next 10 days.
