lol, it will be later today with the pics. So far I have drilled the 20 boards for the screws, painted the feet I'm putting on, and some of the bottom ply. Next I'll put the feet on after they dry, then I will add the next twenty boards and maybe prep some for later again. I'll be working on this for at least another 4 hours today. I'll take a ton of pics I promise. Check out this thread tonight to see them. like 10 p.m. mountain time.

Uh, did you look at the other 18 pages? Anyways about to post up some other pics. Downloading them as I type. Going to be about 1 1/2 hrs later than what I said, but I didn't get to work as much as I wanted to. I'll have to go out and get some more bits for my drill tomorrow as I broke the last one I had tonight. I find the further I make it on this project the harder it gets to keep this thing square. Definitely if anyone else is going to make one with my kind of design make sure that you make plenty of jigs to help out along the way. Regreting not making a corner jig, and a more sturdy side jig. My long jig for the bottom works wonders and I will definitely be making some jigs for other parts of this build. Pics in a few mins.

Ok here's the pics. It is now almost 6' long wich is 1/3 of the skeleton. Did my price check on the glass and going with two 2' x 4' x 1" acrylic windowns. Grand total will be $450 shipped.:D:headbang2 Took me a little while to figure out the logistics. I am a man on budget so I couldn't go overboard. You can see some of the barrels for the filter in the pics, and you can also see on the floor a faint circle where I use to have a 1100 gal pool setup for the fish, but it leaked like mad so now I am in a rush to complete this tank lol. Most of the day was spent putting the feet on and painting the studs 1' on both ends so that if any water gets on them it hopefully won't get soaked in. Going to have to figure out something besides landscaping bricks to hold this while I build. Any ideas?

Have to buy more screws and more drill bits next. Should be another $20 or so. 5 lbs of screws doesn't last very long on this thing. Figure another 10 lbs at least.

Awesome job!

Now that you have decided to go with four foot windows, is the framing you have already completed going to be symmetric?
