180 Gallon Stand and Canopy Build

I really love that stand. I might have to steal the diagonal pattern when/if I build a stand.

The 30 gallon tank and sump running dual will be just as sufficient if not even more sufficient than a single 55 gallon.

I really love the stand you've built. I would pay for quality that good. Looks simply awesome.

Subscribed and can't wait to see the top and the whole thing together.

Working on the hood now....don't think i like my first one i've done and might tear it down and redo it.

The hood was the hardest part for me when I did my 125g setup.

I've been wondering about the amount of weight in a hood. Seems like there's a limit there for sure.

I've went with 1x2's for the frame work, which is very light to be honest. I"m going to line that with my tongue in grove outside to match my stand and put a trim on it. It should be very light and I did my hood a little different than some in that my hood is sitting on top of the tank and not just being held up with some small pieces on the inside of the hood. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get a little further into it. Have to get the $$ for it first :)

Went and picked up a 55 gallon for $25 from someone on CL, got to love CL lol. Also redid the hood and absolutely love it now. Got it stained and will get some picks up soon of the finished hood and work on sump.

The sump, meh' I've seen sump builds out of 55g tanks. Lets see the hood! I'm excited to see what you did with your hood design!

Very nice build, and I was just about to make a stand for my 110G and 90Gal tanks.

Keep it coming.
