180 Gallon Stand and Canopy Build

By opening like a piano you mean the actual top is going to open as well as the front? I guess I'm thinking of how the keys on a piano has a cover that is L shaped and opens.

Maybe I'll just have to see it. Either way your stand looks brilliant. I wish my 125g and 90g look like that.

Just give me about 2 weeks and you will see it :) I'm just happy to be almost done and finally get it up and running.

Couple weeks to get the hood done...although i have got my filter socks in I ordered and going to get it up and running this coming week :) Can't wait, but will post picks of the hood and complete setup as soon as I get it done here in the next couple weeks.
 
Finally got it all done and up and running (everything worked perfect, i'm amazed), with no problems. Just goes to prove that anyone can do it if I can considering I've never built this stuff before (have kept fish for 25+ years). My local Petland orders fish for me and got the Rokteil and chocolate for me and will hopefully get the Uaru's next week. I'll get a pic up as soon as I get my camera back or figure out how to do it with my cell phone.

Whoa! That fold back configuration you put together is fricken' sweet! Ridiculously jealous of this setup. What stock do you have in there?

The stock is in my sig right now, but i'm going to add another Rotkeil Sev and a Super Red Sev. Really debating on adding some Uaru's also and if anyone get's roudy, i'll move them over to this 220 when I get it up.
