A lot. The plan is to install jack casters in the corners to move it....whenever move it.
What is "whenever move it"? What I meant to say was "when and if I ever move it". I keep telling myself dont write posts after someone brings you a King Taco carne asada burrito. I'm too busy eatin and not writin'.

Just finished the first outside skin. The skin is a very thin plywood that was stained then bonded to the tank with a removable adhesive. This allows me to change the skin out to a new theme every once in awhile. That includes the bamboo ends.

The "moat" around the base was filled with black river rock. I didnt like how the rock was loose and falling all over the place so I bonded the rock to wooden sticks. This keeps the rocks in place and allows simple removal of the rock as a single sticks. Also keeps kiddie fingers (and most adults) from the natural tendency to picking at the rock.

I added the greenery as an experiment to see how it looked. It's not bonded in...yet.

On the bottom of the last pic you can see the other skin which is a bamboo theme.

Next is the canopy. Any ideas welcome.

Wow, I never really thought a plywood tank could ever look so good. You have inspired me. I thought about doing it for a while. That is amazing. Oh...and Dobermans > German Shepherds :p

Thanx. That's where I got the rock idea - a bamboo planter.

Thanx. If I didnt have Shepards I'd have Dobies. I love how they both challenge you mentally.

Looks great. Might try some of the greenary at the tops of the bamboo also. just a thought. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve for my big tank build to help it out looks-wise! Great job!
