If my wife ever sees that picture I will hunt you down and shove that tv up your ***. Just wanted to give you fair warning. :irked:

As for the amount of air being blocked by the check valves, you could always pick up a larger pump. ;)

aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Ohh man I am sorry I didn't even think about your credit card when I posted that...thats funny right there. That TV was my wifes idea actually (well I let her think that) She said she wanted a TV there, for me to make it happen when we were building. Its the **** to be able to sit in the tub with the jets on and watch some football in HD.

I know I could get bigger pumps but on top of the canopy is out of site...cheaper since I dont need a bigger pump...and now there is 0 chance of a repete :D

well at least from the airline hose....

Yeah the poo is a cornucopia of color lol. I was like where did all that come from. I had one smallish pile I could see in a dead spot...but not as much as what was there yesterday. I guess since the filters were not running that made it pile up like that.

Keep in mind I have 3 bushy noise plecos that have cleared out the tank as far as any algae that has grown...and the driftwood too...that changes the color too.

ok ok...it is froot loops...I thought it would bring out more colors in the fish haha

I have 3 vises...fish (or any live animal, I have had a lot), audio/video electronics, and cars (blown 06 mustang GT currently)...so I have a few toys I have collected over the years :D

Just a quick question regarding the poo...How do you keep it off the sand? Mine either sits in plain view, or collects under rocks etc. I've only got a 55g, with a single canister on it, but whenever I do a proper clean (moving the rocks), I get find lots of poo!!!!

Cheers

Water tonight defiantly has ammonia. Its at least .25 maybe between that and .50. Nitrites are 0 and always have been. Nitrates are less than .5ppm but there is some nitrates! I tested straight tap water to get a true 0 color and the tank water had a more brownish color...but not quite 5ppm. If you looked from the top down on the test tube rather than from the side you could tell the difference more. So maybe the tank is cycled from the safestart but the down time the other day has made it die off some. It was off for probably 8hrs...all those fish pooing like that.

This sand is great so far...its fine enough to compact and not let poo in so far, so its just on the top. And I have a spot here and there that collects it. I need to turn on another pump and see if that changes it...where ever it settles its easy to just suck it out. I have a lot of open area so that helps in not letting it pile up...the current keeps it moving.

ohh and let me add one power block is shot...makes the system reset ever few min. I believe it was the one water poured out when I tipped it sideways. My lights sat in the water and so did the other power block but those things are working with now. so we will see. I did order the .NET module so I can get emails of warnings (among other things)....like hey the powers out. Also some icecap ballast with out fans. My current ballast have fans and are LOUD. Now I have them out of the stand and they got to go.

Do they make a module that can detect if their is water in the stand? I believe I saw that somewhere on their site. It's not an option with mine but I'm thinking it is for yours. Of couse it could just be the Aquacontroller that does it.
