hahaha

The tank is on a wood floor...that has swelled slightly...but definitely swelled. My room has carpet. Fans been on...that was the first thing. I have no idea where the stand leaked but I will be coating the bottom area with pond armor now to seal it up....hopefully.

I am tidying things up that I should have long ago...an easy fix for the air pump problem for me was to put it on the canopy...done...no more chance for a siphon and no check valves choking it down.. Ballast are up there too now and the wires run. I just need to call DA tomorrow and see what they think about the power blocks.

Ok all done...what a mess...some pics as I went.

First got home

outside, the tank is right next to this window.

bead room

done for now...once I decided on the DA strips I will tuck all the wires neat...but they are off the floor now.

cool shot of the yellow...if the dolphin wouldn't have jumped in lol

Here's one of the large piles of poop that was settled because there were no pumps running. I tested the water and the ammonia wasn't any more high than it was this morning....maybe .25. I did a 90 gal water change. I noticed the different colors lol. I am guessing the reder ones are the africans and the greener ones are the plecos (3bushys). Sorta like snowballs hahaha

I just moved my air pumps down into the stands but now I'm rethinking my decision. I just find it a little difficult to trust $2 check valves. I'm hoping that doubling them up will be pretty good insurance though. The odds of two failing at the same time should be pretty low. I'm only running them in my 210 and 55 though. The 300 gets plenty of oxygen from the overflows and wet/dry.

Now, hurry up and finish that tank so you can organize the cables for your tv. I'm ashamed of you, you take time to organize your tank wires but not your tv wires. :(

Needs color how??

I have the air merely for the looks in the corners...I know it gets plenty 02 from the wetdry. I just didnt like how those check valves cut so much air...I cant imagine how 2 does.

AS for the tv....they are organized actually. I just had to rip it apart to get to the carpet. The dresser was against that wall...and my DRTV HD box was under the dresser. I have a RF remote to control it. Those wires you see usual go under the dresser....I have them hanging out so I could dry my carpet. So all you see is the 50"er floating on the wall above the dresser :D

Much like this one...only its in the bathroom...

If my wife ever sees that picture I will hunt you down and shove that tv up your ***. Just wanted to give you fair warning. :irked:

As for the amount of air being blocked by the check valves, you could always pick up a larger pump. ;)
