250g stocking

i also dont mean for all of the fish to go in at the same time, more of what fish could go in the tank/amount and be compatible with the others. I gave a list of fish i thought seemed interesting and within the tanks limit according to aqua imports.

sorry, it wasn't a troll post, i was mostly basing my information off of what aqua imports and a quick google search told me.
Oh ok, we have had a lot of troll post’s similar to this. But that is way too many large fish. I’d knock off the hujeta for being too small and the aro for being too big immediately unless you want a jardini, but even then you’re looking at one fish. Maybe narrow it down to a couple catfish and a couple mid to upper level fish. I’d take the apure off too

alright, i did have Jardini in mind but i was told they were extremely aggressive. i would love to house them though. realistically i was thinking of a few peacock bass specifically the kelberi or xingu breed as they are the smallest of the bass group. I also was really interested in gymnothorax polyuradon and was informed while they get large, they would have sufficient space within the tank due to how they coil.

I think one or maybe two of the smaller pbass would work, but not with the eel in my opinion mainly because of how aggressively pbass eat and the shape of the eel may make the bass attempt to eat it even if the eels too big as well as the eel having a hard time getting food. Looking head on, the eel may appear smaller triggering an attempt by the bass. Try the pbass with the sailfin pim and a larger armored cat like a granulosus or irwini. I think the jardini MIGHT work with an armored cat too. That’s my two cents

Hey everybody, how about not greeting every new member by calling them trolls? That would be at least a bit more polite than what were doing now.

To the OP, i think that would make a fantastic kelberi tank. Youve got the right idea picking a smaller pbass as they will still look quite large in an 8x2x2 once they mature. As for ideal group size or M/F ratio you may want to do some more research but i dont think 2 big males could share that space with females around.

Agreed 100% about the greetings.

Anyways, back to fish...a kelberi tank could work. That would be beautiful.

This might be a little out there, but you could have one stingray. If you did that, you would have to have something that stays near the top to eliminate any potential interaction problems. Another thing, if you get a stingray, note the "sting" in "stingray". What I mean is you would have to deal with the risk of a nasty sting if you mishandle the ray, just warning ya. But despite the risk factor, it is still a beautiful fish that would definitely get convos started.

@Backfromthedead Exactly! I’ve seen so many new members posts being criticised by older members in this forum. It was quite obvious the OP of this thread meant EITHER of the selected species in his comment, not all at once in the same tank….
if this continues there wouldn’t be anymore members in this forum anymore with everyone being chased out?

Tbh, not every single member is greeted badly...I had some troll-worthy ideas when I first came on here and y'all didn't call me a troll. lol.

There has been a lot troll posts that are very similar to this one. But apparently I was wrong about this one, so that’s on me.
