Potentially not a good idea keeping an Oscar and senegal bichir together as the Oscar will outgrow the bichir and possibly try to eat it resulting in the possible death of one or both of them.
Ok then a larger bichir species.

alright, given the information by you all and some more in depth research I did, I think I should be able to keep 3-4 kelberi bass (1m/3f), a sailfin pim and probably 2-3 gymnothorax polyuradon. is there anything wrong in this stock?
Still not a good ideaOk then a larger bichir species.
Like I said before. Unless those morays are bigger in circumference then those PBs mouths then I’d give them the slide. Other than that stock is fine. Just make sure your filtration is up to scratch. Not because of the PBs but because sailfin plecos crap more than a black snake on laxatives.alright, given the information by you all and some more in depth research I did, I think I should be able to keep 3-4 kelberi bass (1m/3f), a sailfin pim and probably 2-3 gymnothorax polyuradon. is there anything wrong in this stock?
could I ask what specifically is making the tank overstocked? i might ditch the eels and add more bass if the majority of overstock feeling is from the eels.I still think that is overstocked. If you really want those gymnothorax polyuradons, I'd ditch the bass and sailfin and just do a tank full of eels. That would be interesting, and then you can also provide the ideal habitat for them with cool aquascaping.
I run a fx6 with 3 layered media, I run sponge, purigen, carbon and ultimate media. I've seen some gymnos get much larger than fire eels, I might cut the cymnos down to just one.Like I said before. If you still want some stuff on the bottom, I’d go down the route of some of the larger lower jaws and fire eels.
They get big but take a long time. I’m talking years. Fire eels grow a bit quicker Fromm what’s I’ve heard. You also got to take in account the fact that as your morays grow, so are your PBs.I run a fx6 with 3 layered media, I run sponge, purigen, carbon and ultimate media.
