Here is a full tank shot. I have ordered a new monster media reactor so the tank should be crystal clear within the next week or two.
Here are a couple of pictures of the trimac that I just found in the wet/dry.

After you recover from your knee surgery Im definately going to have to come and check out that set up. I know now who I need to call when I start building my fish room. LOL
Any news on the goodies yet? I am really noticing a reduction in nitrates with this purigen. Im pumping through about .5 liters at 100 gph the stuff is absorbing some real nasties. My water is crystal clear even with the UV on another tank momentarily.LowCel;3039064; said:
The pump and filter socks shipped from Marine Depot today. The media reactor was supposed to have dropped shipped today as well. The purigen and matrix carbon shipped from www.kensfish.com today as well. I am planning on ordering a controller tomorrow.

Man this thread has been a great read, i am glad to see your project is coming together. I had to get rid of my oscars and other cichlids as i work at sea, was too much work for my mum whilst i was away, was a real bummer to let them go. I hope you are beginning to feel better anyways man, take it easy
About 2 days it was noticeable but I was running carbon at the same time. After a week or so it has a little tint on it (the purigen does not my water) but it works better every day. I noticed a big difference at first but that could have been the carbonLowCel;3039158; said:
