Anyone have any ideas for aquascaping? I just have nothing but time to think about it while this silicone cures. Live plants are a must.

Nice work on the BG guys. I'm also installing the same BG in a 120 tall. I'll try to start a thread soon. Those seems came out way better than I would have thought. I figured cutting them straight like that would be pretty noticeable.

I guess I didn't post this, but the secret is to cut the back of the background with a razor blade where you want your cut to be, and then "snap" the pieces off. If you use a saw they won't line up at all because you will actually be cutting a portion of the seam off.

Don't forget the most important part:
BG touching BG = score back, snap front
BG touching tank = score front snap back or use saw.

Or have you buddy do it lol..

Yeah, that's what I did. Had to use a dremel on a few spots because it was either fiberglass or resin...not sure which. Either way, a razor blade wouldn't touch it, & a dremel even struggled to get through it. I didn't cut mine in a straight line though. I followed the stump & cut between it & the rock/mud wall hopng to blend the seem better.
