In no order, I would say these 5 are probably the worst treated in the industry:

Oscars
Pacus
Common Plecos
Bettas
Comet Goldfish

Anyone agree? Any you think are treated badly?
I agree with your list for the most part, but I'd change the comet to oranda (when you think about it, at least comets that are raised for use as feeders don't have to suffer for years like 75-80% of orandas do) and switch the order:

Pacu
Bettas
Orandas
Oscars
Common pleco

Jellybean Convicts
Blood Parrots
Black Skirt Tetras aka Fruit Tetras
Blood parrots! It makes me sad when ever I see parrots with their tails cut off. Heart parrots? BS! :irked:

They get dyed, tattooed, and mutilated. Its sad. Even though they are hybrids doesn't mean they should be treated that way.

Top five is definately covered. Number 6 for me would be irridescent shark. Doesn't belong in the hobby imo. Ever see one with its faced not all banged up? Fish is too skitish and gets too big for an aquarium fish. Although some really good hobbyists can handle them.
