Look at their location. There are a ton of species we see commonly in th US for under $30 that are either $100+ or not even legal in Australia

$5 round here lol i saw a lady pickup a 30gal once with a RTC not even an inch and a red ear slide turtle

In no particular order, I would say these 5 are probably the worst treated in the industry:

Oscars
Pacus
Common Plecos
Bettas
Goldfish

Anyone agree? Any you think are treated badly?

I agree. My husband picked up this 55 gallon tank at a moving away yard sale with two large pleco, 4 7-9" oscars and 2 15" pacu

Poor pacu had to smash faces and tails into the glass to turn around.
