  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I finished pulling up the ugly tile and went with one color tile.
after that i put the drift wood in and filled the aquarium enough to start soaking my driftwood.

I also put rocks on top of the wood to keep it from floating.

In the below picture you can see the start of the lights.

Lets not forget my daughter the helper (not a good picture of her but its hard to get a 2 yead old to hold still).

Thanks for the complement and the acryic is 1''thick but it does have some bowing issues.
I am confident in the fact that it will not bust because this is a proffesionaly built tank.
If you are looking in to a plywood build I would probably suggest to go thicker but I am no proffesional tank builder. the only thing I can suggest is to see the sticky on glass thickness calculater.

Ok so heres the deal,
on june 9th my wife will be having a baby and we will need the room in my living room for baby stuff which means that i will have to move my 100gal tank from the living room to the garage next to the 560.
my plan is to paint the back black no the 100gal and build a sump out of an old 55gal that I have just sitting on the back porch doing nothing.
so with that being said there will be no progress on the 560 untill Ifinish this project.
also, when the baby is born progress will be few and far between.
