i had thought about folding the corners back on themselves, just wasn't too sure on how.
No news on the jardini/pics, think i'm gonna text the bloke again and be a pest, i wanna KNOW that fish went to a good home.
had a phone call back from the LFS today, because the woman in there was not A OK about her calculations, i went in there friday but the manager was not about, turns out my quote was a little miscalculated. 1.0mm butyol liner, just to cover the filter box generously would be £157, not loads but to do the tank as well, it's getting on for £600 with haggling. don't mean to keep chopping and changing my mind, but i'd rather spend another £140 ish to get another five litres of A1 pond paint and give it a week between coats (2 coats) then, if that doesn't work i guess i won't have any more options. once again it feels two steps forward and one back. Rome wasn't built in a day though hey!![]()
Confused as to how your liner's are going to cost so much actually matey. My liner cost about £80 brand new off the roll if i remember rightly, it definately wasn't a 3 figure sum. It's a very good liner and even if you doubled up on it in the tank itself for extra fish chewing protection it wouldn't cost anywhere near what you've been quoted.
How soon could you start accomodating more fish and are you interested in my 6x2x2 before i start offering it out in other places? Looks like i'm going to have to loose all my fish before i emigrate and would prefer them to go to an MFK home than an LFS
