Damn, i should have gotten pics of the power planer, nothing could rub a nice hard piece of wood to smooth satisfying finish faster.

Depends on who you ask whether bigger is best or small is just as good if you know how to use to. A nicely ribbed shaft is useless if you don't have the technique to get enough movement to hit the right spot good and hard with your little chopper.

Don't you mean that's what you tell them?
could i not just scrap the epoxy idea, i'm loosing confidence again, instead use a good quality pond liner on the tank and the filter? will the glass silicone etc ok to the liner? i'm not bothered about it having the odd crease in it too.
