acrylic will be fine sitting on the floor of the tank mike

you may not need the srews depending on mastic used

cheers alan, reckon i will probably use the screws just for good measure. i was planning on sanding the acrylic where it will butt up to the frame, in theory to give the sealant something more than a shiny surface to bond to, thoughts please

front panel arrived today two days early
nearly **** myself when they opened the truck and there sat a big WHITE panel! didn't realise it would come with plastic film on either side

probably install thursday, gonna scrap the stainless screws on account of as soon as it's got holes drilled through they create weak spots.
