i have both, but i voted for angels because i've had them for alot longer than i did discus. angels are definitely cheaper to maintain and beautiful, but discus (IMO) are much more rewarding to have (if you take good care of them). especially once you get those amazing colors to show and a nice school of discus is just AMAZING. yes, they are more expensive (i bought mine at 1.5 inches ea for 15$ ea, so it was a good deal) personaly i like discus more even though maintaining and keeping them takes time (and most times money lol) but once your hard work is payed off, you can sit down relax and just enjoy... and then you feel gooooood. =) i think thats all i have to say for now

Love schools of angels "hanging" around driftwood
Can still be mean *** cichlids when they want to
