Aussie natives Stocking.

hap0pens to me all de time

I also have a tiny tandanus just 2" and an australian bass 1.5". at the moment both are on frozen bloodworms (how much you think they should eat per day) and try soon to get them on carnivore sinking pellets. but pellets are still to big for them to eat have to cut them in 2-3 pieces haha.

When i feed my fish i usually feed them what they can fit in there gut, or when i see there belly bulge. Careful not to totally overfeed them they they are so fat they cant move, you should work out a balance of how much to feed them overtime.;)

How big is your Murray?

i emptied and cleaned my pond yesterday, my god it was hard caching my 2 bass and tandanus catfish, took me over 2 hours. all the other fish were easy to catch because they were much easier to see (goldfish and koi).

my bass are about 10 and 8cm, and the tandanus about 20cm. natives ive had in the past include 2 silver perch, a murray cod and another bass. the 2 silver perch were doing good for a while with the single bass, but all of a sudden one of the perch went on a psyco attack and killed the other perch and bass, and injured 2 of my koi. he ended up jumping out, and i recovered him but he ended up dying. the murray cod refused to eat anything i gave him, from flakes to pellets, bloodworms and even live guppy juviniles. he was getting skinny so i put him in my guppy tank to see if he would eat some fry. a few days later he was eaten by an apple snail.:WHOA: im going to try the murray cod again after i go to malaysia in summer. and ill try to get a healthier one.

some piccies of my natives from the pond
