Valis(many different varieties all are not something youy can get through most shops)
oddballs such as mosses, ottelia spp, water ribbon etc.

Ok, so today I went down to my LFS and grabbed 3 Golden eel-tail cats because from what I've read they are pretty rare... they look more like Tandanus tandanus to me :P

anyway, I do the usual acclimate them, they swim around normally for a bit... then they just die.... god damn I'm so broke, so I can't even go down and buy more :(

Have you got other fish in the tank?

That's unfortunate. Did you do the standard bag in water trick, or try trickle acclimation?

I've really taken to the trickle technique, especially when acclimating brackish water/soft water fish to my harder, alkaline freshwater tanks.

Yeah it has 4 yellow eel-tail cats 3 rendahls eel tails 3 Neosilurus ater cats

Ok, so good news is, one of them is alive and looking good :) now I just need to get a proper ID on it :)

I would go back where you brought them and ask for replacements, if it's a half decent LFS then they should replace them. Especially since you have other fish in the tank and they are healthy
 
Ok, so they didn't give me replacement fish :P
But I did pick up a nice 2ft Murray Cod :D
