Aussie natives Stocking.

anything live, insects, feeder fish, yabbies etc
if they eat dead than thats better. alot of murray cods only eat live. i had a very small fingerling once that refused to eat everything including live. it ended up dying

Cheap prawns from the supermarket are pretty good. Wild Cod take them as bait so I would think that yours might too.
Yeah I'm gonna try prawns.

He will eat live for sure, buttttt, seeing as he has been brought up on pellets and stuff I'm gonna try and keep him on dead/frozen foods.

Ok, I tried un-cooked prawns and he only ate one...
It seems he only likes pellets, but I need bigger ones.

That's a good thing, Feeders get to expensive compared to pellet food. And less chance of getting disease/ parasites from live fish..... :)

Yeah I know its a good thing, but I don't know where I can get big enough pellets for this guy :(
At the moment he eats like a whole box of the ones I use. lol

Are there any trout farms or native fish hatcheries in your area? You can source pellets of a reasonable size from those people for relatively cheap. Failing that, ask one of the more 'specialist' aquarium stores if they can source them for you. They shouldn't be too hard to get.
