How's the Meguiar's working for you? And that buffer? $34 is a great price.
I had two non-variable Ryobis (a 10" and a 6" handheld like that orange one it looks like you also used) and they did only a mediocre job on my old 110. I've got some medium but not awful scratches I want to take out of my two tanks now, and I lost those buffers anyway (and all my Novus) so I'm very curious to see how well yours comes out. And how much time it took you.
You know, this lil buffer isnt to bad. Well worth the price. Even though variable speed, it doesnt have the small fine speed adjustment capabilities. Also i think the meguiar's is to fine of a cut, should have gotten 3m rubbing compound. Other than that, its definitely helped bring back some luster to the tank.

you should try 1000/1500/2000 grit wet sand paper, 3M rubbing compound and, then plastX. i did that on my 90 and it basically made it brand new. tedious process but, the results are seriously worth it. great looking tank, man. wish i had the money for something like that haha
I did use, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 grit wet sand on certain scratches and spots. It does help tremendously. Im prob gonna get the 3m compound, and then hit it a polish for the final step.

I didn't really read the thread, so forgive me if this has been said. What is going in this beastly tank?
The residents will be about 15 abalios, with a 10" one being the largest, possible a large panque pleco (gotta read more about them and acrylic) and possibly some rays.
