biggest koi

They're in a half acre pond, they happen to grow a minimum of 24", yet you cant go out into the centre which most of them may be. How could you even get to feed them in a pond that big. Pics or I will declare you a fake.

I've got some nice koi. Many are in the 30-33" range.

This is my first post trying to put on pictures so we'll see if I can do it.

For some reason I think the photos didn't load. So if you want to see some anyway, (I don't think there will be any really big koi) but lots of koi pictures on our gallery at the site below.

Thanks, Mike

I got 11 koi last year that were about 15 inches when I got them. I put them in the pond which is 1/2 acre and the smallest one now is 39 inches.
99.9% of koi dont even have the potencial to get to this size, and for the rest - it would take at least 7 - 8 years to grow them so big presuming they have the perfect conditions for it,..... nice try.......

this is a member of the carp family, is considered a "koi" in Japan
they get much bigger than this but this is the above average "fishing" size

but no joke; i've seen probably a 5' koi(well maybe it seemed like that 'cause i was 10) in a isolated lake up in the mountains. but still, i think they were close to 4'. not carp but koi, like high quality ogons, shusui, kohaku, etc.
it was crazy!!

i wish i knew where that place is now...
