You should get in the records books, since that is recognized as the largest, heaviest, oldest koi in the world.

there are koi like that EVERYWHERE in Japan, whether someones' pet or not. are they talking about koi in general or that specific color the ogon?

there are much bigger koi than that one in captivity(Japan)....it's probably the biggest in that Country the man's in.

That Koi actually came out of Japan and it was labeled as the biggest in the world before it left. Is it the biggest Kigoi?
 
Wow, there are some really big koi in this thread. I can't wait till mine get bigger. There is a restaurant close to my house that lets you feed the fish with one of those 25cent feeder machines and there are some huge fish in there. I know theres atleast 3 koi close to four feet, that you see every now and then. They look awesome going under the dock.

Well We don't know if she's the Largest in the World..just the Largest exported out of Japan.
